The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) has officially announced the 2nd State Level Selection Test (SLST) 2025, marking a significant recruitment initiative to fill 35,726 Assistant Teacher positions in government-aided and sponsored secondary and higher secondary schools across the state.

      Total Vacancies: 35,726 Assistant Teacher posts

• 23,212 for Classes IX–X
• 12,514 for Classes XI–XII

• Commencement of online application : Monday, 16.06.25 (5PM)
• End of receiving online application:- Monday, 14.07.25 (5PM)
• Last date of receipt of application fees - Monday, 14.07.25 (11.59PM)
• Tentative date of Written test: - 1st week of September, 2025
• Tentative Publication of result: 4th week of October, 2025
• Interview: 1st Week -3rd Week of November (Tentative)
• Publication of Panel: 24.11.2025
